1990 Ford F150 cranks, doesn't start. No spark
I'm helping a friend work on his 1990 Ford F150 4.9L -- it cranks well, but doesn't start and there is no spark. It has a new battery and recently ran just fine.
We have replaced the coil, ignition control module, and distributor complete with a new PIP sensor inside (first the coil, then distributor, then ICM). We cleaned up the grounds and checked them on the truck body.
We tested for voltage at the coil's connector and it was good and tested for spark from the coil directly with no luck. We tested directly from the coil tower, so that should bypass the possibility of a bad wire to the distributor, yes?
We're going to try out the old coil and see if there's any luck, and we ran a couple tests on the new coil. I don't know what the specs are on it, so I'm not entirely sure what to look for honestly.
Any ideas on what to test next or what to look for?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Take the dizzy cap off and make sure the rotor spins when you turn it over.
