To the OP, I'd look into an LED conversion, it's been covered on here before. Having lost my SHO to an inattentive moron rear-ending it, I'm all for being as visible as possible from the rear.
You must live in the city. I thought it was kind of normal thing to drive with some hooch or shine on your breathe. Lol
We just keep the shine at the house. I live on the edge of town so I have to watch a few things. Once you hit the dirt roads, things get a little different.

All stereotypes aside (I'm from Wisconsin, I hear it all the time too...) OWI isn't funny. I got hit by a drunk driver at the end of February, she ended up totaling my WRX. Thankfully I was uninjured.
All they have to do is put, For offroad use only on the labeling.
Even if they put a label on it like that, they would still get sued. The label might allow them to win the case, but the company would have to spend money for a legal fight, and would probably opt for an out of court settlement, in the worst case scenario. Here in Michigan, it's a $120 ticket for having white lights as tail lights. I've never seen anyone get a ticket for it, but it is there.
Thanks everyone for your help on the lights. Being the truck has 16" of lift on it .I really don't need to be messed with about anything else. I Think I will just go with the smoke ones. After the lights are on the truck I will post some pics.
No joke bud. 16" in the front and 14" in the rear so it sits level. Built the truck 10 years ago and it's never stopped. I don't mud bog it anymore after we painted it. It's strictly for the sand and occasional trips to the ice cream shop with the wife and kids.
