Ford Towing Capacity Chart, 1985 F250 460 3.55 4x4 Supercab
I am looking for a Ford Towing Capacity Chart for a 1985 F250 460 3.55 gears 4x4 Supercab.
I have one from 1987 that lists it as 9,500 lbs.
Does this book include it?

I would prefer to have the chart, in comparison to anecdotal information (I realize it can pull a lot, and can have issues when doing so).
Thank you for your assistance, it is appreciated.
Arne

That book does indeed contain the chart.
I apologize for the fuzzy phone pictures. I will replace them with ones from my camera when I get home.
Ford only gave a max gcwr, not a max trailer weight so you will need to know what your truck weighs. It is probably somewhere around 5-5500 lbs, my 96 7.3 power stroke ex cab long bed is 5700

Thank you, that is very helpful - and saved me quite a bit of time and money.
FYI - my truck is about 6,000 to 6,200 pounds with the long box supercab, so I have about 15,000 - 6,000 = 9,000 pounds trailer.
That is pretty close to what the 87 could do at 9,500 pounds max trailer weight.
Thanks again, it is truly appreciated. Arne
