Best way to put a 4.9 into a stock 55 F100, will the motor mount ( goes across frame rails) for an FE engine work, I have one, if it will what kind of pads do you use to bolt the engine to the mount?

 

Do a little measuring and you may find a crossmember from a later truck may fit. You'll likely have to cut it out of the frame… take a look and see what you come up with.

I've had three F100's with engine swaps…a '55 with a 351-C, a '56 with a 289 and another with a 354 Hemi… it can be done.
