Well thanks to everyone for the help, I figured it had to be HPOP so on a whim i ordered the O ring kit from ford in hopes to get it fixed before leaving tonight

When i went and picked the kit up at the dealer i asked to speak to the Diesel Tech that worked there. He was super helpful and came out and looked at my truck. He pointed out that it was not the O-Rings that were leaking but instead the "UNServiceable" plug, he even mentioned i can get the serviceable plug online which was nice of him. I am going to swing a bottle over to him later!

But all in all the HPOP needs to come off, he recommended i consider a new or reman HPOP as its prolly not in the best shape.

Anyone have any recommendations for checking the HPOP once i get it off?


Bonus is my boss is letting me borrow his 95 CCLB ZF5 for the trip i am going on this weekend! so i can worry about fixing mine once im back.
