Leveling blocks or springs..?

I've just always been of the belief that 4x4 should be the smallest wheels you can find wrapped in the biggest tires you can fit. 16s wouldn't look that much different, and like you say, they would definitely give me more options for tires. I guess I won't know until that split second before I make the purchase.

Fully compress the springs so the axle hits the bump stops on the frame, hard enough that it isn't fun.. The new springs just feel like a quality suspension vs a cheap one (like cheap mtb bike shocks vs Fox Floats). I'm also running Bilstein shocks. The on road manners are slightly better, but its the rough dirt roads where this setup shines. Like I said, I'm sure the blocks will work well for you, I just abuse my truck a bit.

1993 F350 which ones did you post about and did you buy them yet? I was looking into leveling mine too and Summit has some 1" aluminum spring "spacers" is what they call them that are cheap but it says it will raise the application 2.5 to 3 times the amount of the spacer. I don't want to lift the front 3'' but it seems odd that a 1'' block would raise the truck 3 inches.
No I haven't yet.. I had to replace my rear spring hangers so the took the money for the leveling kit... It will happen though!

I bought this kit:
JBG 1.5" - 2" Leveling Kit
I was very happy with it, but I did not need the camber bushings, so I took them back. I bought new 31" BF Goodrich tires the same day and had it alligned. The tech said I did not need the bushings. It looks like your tires are a bit bigger, so that might make a difference in needing the bushings or not. BTW, I have a '96 F-150 4x4. Here is the truck after the level:

This is 100% true. I have strangers comment to me about once per week how they love the stance, and can't believe it's not an F-250 or F-350.

i did the leveling springs, helped but not level. bought lowering shackles for the rear, again helped but no perfect. almost need leveling springs and spacers for the front to get it level. you see if you lift the front 2" you really only get 1". 1" in front and it will tilt down 1" in the rear. i had read before i did mine, years ago, that it would take the springs and the spacers to get it level, and it was true. the outfit that i bought the rear lowering shackles from sent me a pair of front spacers but i havent used them. its pretty level and i dont want to pay for another $120.00 caster camber set.
