Hi everyone. I have read most of the other posts on this subject but no answers have really helped me with my problem, so here goes.

I just purchased this truck and the previous owner had installed the fog lights in the front bumper but had never wired them. He gave me the wiring that goes with them which consisted of 2 plugs to go to the lights themselves then there is a plug that all the wires go to and what comes out of the plug goes to grounding studs or power I assume. They are just round electrical connectors that go under a screw in the body or frame. There is an inline fuse also and I guess all this wires into a switch that attaches to the dash.

My question is shouldnt this truck already be prewired for the fog lights?

I purchased a headlight switch at a junkyard already that is meant to turn the fog lights on (you pull out on the switch to turn them on). I have installed that into the dash and when you pull the switch out the indicator that the fog lights are on comes on so in my mind there should be wiring for the lights somewhere under the hood. I cannot find this plug anywhere.

Anyone have any ideas? Makes no sense that an f250 lariat package would not come with the fog lights anyway or at least the wiring in place to add them. I do not really want to add an aftermarket switch to turn the fog lights on I would like to use the factory switch I just installed.
