I am the owner of a 2011 F-150 Lariat ecoboost. Loved the truck until I started having issues recently and getting no help from Ford. Looking for posts relating to the ecoboost stall/hesitate issues (CAC moisture) and hard shifting at low speeds from 1st-2nd gear.

Where exactly are you? I'm also in the SW burbs. Your truck still under warranty? There are a couple very dealers in the area.

When was the last time you've had your dealership check out your truck, riles54? How many miles do you have on it? Let me know so I can look into options to help.

I have 41k miles on the truck. The only things I've done , besides routine maint., is add the wheel wells covers and a hard taneau cover. When warranty is up plan to do some performance upgrades.

Sammy, I'm near Orland.

Crystal, I was at the dealer last week for the stalling and MIL. They found the same thing autozone found, misfire on #3 and advised replacing all plugs and the coil. ( They wanted $400, which I'll do myself). I've had all the TSB's done that I know of, though the dealer is not really good at giving that info out unless requested exactly. Like I said , great truck except for the constant stall/misfire issues.

Ha! So am I. Have you replaced the plugs before? If not, do so and see if that changes anything. There's a couple outstanding Techs that are in the area that are in nearby dealerships.
