White wires loose on both sides of engine compartment
Guys,
1992 F-Superduty IDI, Auto
I have a white wire on both sides of engine compartment that isn't hooked to anything.....
Dr. side is near firewall and goes into small harness, then into interior thru firewall
Pass side is just in front of heater area in small harness also, looks to go down back of inner fender under cab.
Any idea of where they could go? Should I assume grounds? I can't post picts, but if grounds.....can I just ground each one?
I have no WTS lights in that pod area, and half the dash lights are out....besides GP start issue.
If anyone has a wiring diag. for this truck they could offer....that would be great too!
A lot of wires were cut when I got this......I changed the main harness and into glow setup and these whites were loose on both sides.
Thanks...and have a great holiday!

i wouldn't assume anything.that always gets me into trouble anyway lol.
have any pics you could toss up to a free online image hosting site and post us the links?
did you test them for power yet? (id assume this, due to you wanting to assume they're grounds, but we already know where that gets us lol.)
for the lights in the gauge cluster, did you first pull the bezel and inspect the bulbs? simply things first i always say.
