Question hitch options

I need both a 5th wheel hitch and a gooseneck hitch in both of my trucks. I only need to use one at a time, so is there a hitch that has both styles available in some form of quick attach?

B&W makes an adapter for a 5th wheel that goes in the goosneck hitch. You remove the ball and install the 5th wheel. But you need the part that bolts to the frame on both trucks, and there kind of spendy.

The pic is just for reference, I don' think this is the right model for our trucks. http://www.ebay.com/itm/B-W-HITCHES-1500-TURN-OVER-BALL-GOOSENECK-HITCH-FLATBED-KIT-/141026303092?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item20d5d29c74&vxp=mtr

If you can find the B&W turnoverball hitch for the gooseneck for 150ish you better jump on it because i spent more than that on my class 5 B&W bumper hitch.

I don't know if this would work for your application, it would work fine for me just because i already have the rails for my fifth wheel.

That could be an option. I just need to have the rails in both trucks then.

Do the rails just bolt to the truck bed? Or do they fasten to the frame somehow?

The rails have L shaped brackets that bolt to the truck frame, then the rails bolt threw the box to the L brackets.

Thanks. I figured it was something like that.

It sucks that you have to worry about negative load with that rail type gooseneck. Are they just being too cautious and doing a little "CYA" with that note?
