Compression check, electrics disconnect

Just wondering what the best way to do this, so as not to have coil energizing, or otherwise damaging anything to the electronics - or me .... 92 5.0 stock efi setup ....

Pull the coil wire off the coil and you will be fine. There really isn't anything you would be doing on a compression check to hurt the truck, but getting "bit" by a plug wire might make you hurt yourself!
