Looking for OBS truck parts

Looks like I'll be in CO for a week or so visiting family. Are there any good scrap yards there that have OBS trucks? I'll be around the Boulder, springs area.

Thanks!

Sweet! Mostly cosmetic stuff, doors, wiring harness', whatever I can stuff in my car. I'll be in the springs in a month or 2, just planning ahead for when I come to see my Mom.

Any 7.3's that haven't been picked through all the way would be nicer, but really the cosmetic stuff that's hard to find in KS.

How far from Centennial to the pick-apart?

If you are lucky you can find a diesel motor still in the truck, but those are typically the first to go. I think there is plenty of the other stuff you mentioned. This place is about an hour and 15 min south of Centennial. This pick a part place is on the south side of Colorado Springs.

Yea, 7.3's don't sit for long at the pick apart in KS.

What is the name of the place? If they have a website, I'll have to look around, or give them a call ahead of time.

The drive isn't a problem. I can make a day of it when my Mom is at work.

I am not sure how much useful info you will get from them but you can call... Used Auto Parts Colorado Springs | U-Pull-&-Pay

I never talk to them behind the counter, I just go back to where the Ford trucks are and look around. You never know what someone has already removed so best to just look around than look for a specific vehicle.

Use the link Ryan posted to search inventory the Denver and Aurora U-Pull yards. We also have a couple LKQ self serve yards: Search for an LKQ Pick Your Part junk yard near you | Cheap OEM used auto parts. Again, use the inventory function.

Give a shout when you get here!

Sure will! Thanks for that link too!

Should be sometime toward the end of next month! I'll probably bring my car unless my truck is up for the trip by then. Been having some problems with just getting her started.

If you make it down Colorado Springs way, I am around. I might be persuaded to show up at the pick-a-part with some tools.

Immortal, I'll have to PM my phone number when I get back to the states and get it turned back on. I'll have the majority of the tools I'll need as well. We'll have to have a wrenching party!

Well, I have arrived in the springs. I think I might go to colorado compressed gases to get a plug for my welder, and a few supplies. I'll start parts searching on Monday I think.
