91 f150 5.0 no spark

I just found a decent 91 f150 short bed with 5.0 4spd on CL. Guy wants $1500 for it. Says its got 30 k on rebuilt motor new fuel and brake lines clutch battery ignition parts good tires. Says it hasnt seen salt since 01. I have a couple pics it looks pretty nice. Im getting better ones tomar. He says it has he replaced coil and all the related stuff but still no spark. Has ran since last fall thinks its a bad ground. He wants $1500 for it and thinks its a bad ground. What do you think is wrong and do you think that is a fair price. What other questions should i ask. He says its got nice interior body is pretty good as well as frame. Since i cant run it im hesitant at $1500.

If its as nice as it sounds, for 1500 bucks its in question. Why so cheap? Could be something as simple as a battery cable swap, or something more serious like sensors, dizzy etc.. Starter motor rotates the crank, correct?

If it cranks with no spark it is more than likely a bad PIP sensor inside the distributor, a bad ICM (TIF) on the side of the distributor or a bad ECM Computer.

He said it turns over fine just no spark said he replaced a bunch of ignition parts and hasnt had any time to work on it. Im thinking $1500 is kinda high for a truck i cant hear run. Altho i would love to have something with a rebuilt motor. Then again i wish it wasnt a 302 or short box either.
