Does a 90 E350 w 460 & E4od have locking TC?
I've looked all over to answer this q. My 90 E350 Chinook sure feels like the TC is locking even in 3rd gear w/o overdrive.
When did the locking TC become available? Does mine have it?

The E4OD transmission has always had a locking torque converter. Shutting off OD does not prevent the converter from locking.

Lockup can occur in 2,3 or 4th gear

Many Thanks for the valuable info. Now that I have a tach in the truck I can see much more than before.
