4x4 cab mount rubber bushings, does anyone really know?

Who actually sells a set for 4x4. Every thread deals with how someone cobbled some mounts together from different kits, machined the pads or made new bushings. The distributors say only good for 2x4.

I think all the front bushings will fit, but the aft are slightly thicker than the fronts. Has anyone actually bought a set that fit correctly on a 4x4?

I found this company in Brazil with the right PNs for front and rear. I sent an email request to check pricing and shipping.

If you had the 1964/72 Ford Truck Parts Catalog, then you would know.

Body location #1: 1967/72 F100/250 2WD/4WD & F350 use the same absorbers (aka cushions, bushings, hockey pucks).

C4TZ-8100154-C Lower Absorber & C4TZ-8100155-C Upper Absorber
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Body location #2: 1967/72 F100/250 4WD & F350:

C4TZ-8100154-C .. Upper Absorber & C4TZ-8100155-C Lower Absorber.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Body location #2: 1967/72 F100/250 2WD use different rear absorbers.

C7TZ-8100154-A Upper Absorber & C7TZ-8100155-A Lower Absorber.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
POST #2 & POST #4: These are not part numbers, they're the ID Engineering numbers marked on the parts.

No part numbers marked on parts after 1956, just casting or ID engineering numbers...when applicable.

I caught what he meant Bill because I looked this stuff up for Orich the other day. OP is coming at it from a different angle than you and I normally think as Ford Parts Guys. Let's put it our way even though it's the same thing. It's actually the 4X2's that are "different". The 4X4's took the same parts, the C4TZ-C ones you mentioned above, in both body bolt locations #1 and #2 (front and rear of cab for you other guys). It is the 4X2's that take the C4TZ-C's in the #1 front location but different C7TZ-A's in the #2 rear.

How to Decipher FoMoCo Part Numbers - Overview - FORDification.com

The part numbers are the same as the ones I posted. I need to just find the right place to buy the correct replacement kit. The DC kit is not correct for a 4x4. The LMC kit pic shows outboard 4x4 frame mounts for the absorbers, but no PN#.

Neither of the above is a part number, since they have an a as the 4th digit of the prefix. These are the ID engineering numbers marked on the parts.

The 4th digit of a Ford part number prefix: Z

Post 6: Take a look-see at the pages I posted from the Ford truck parts catalog. How many of these part numbers do you see that have prefixes that end with an a?

I don't care. I could not care less.

Either you know where I can get the correct absorbers, or you don't. Your condescending diatribe does not impress me at all.

As Bill and I noted above, front and rear take the same rubs. So that means you need 4 of C4TZ8100154C and 4 of C4TZ8100155C.
