Pyleketerson - LOVE the pics. That scenery is amazing (the truck too!). I love Michigan, but I may have to visit the Washington/Oregon area!

Banks has a lot of great products, but the exhaust stuff they sell is way overpriced. If you have a gasser, get a turbo muffler for a happy balance between sound and performance. Still gives an aggressive growl when you stomp on it but doesn't drone like crazy in the cab. If it's a diesel, just glass pack or straight pipe it

That picturemail sucks. At least it doesn't show you in handcuffs because you beat somebody because of this.

It was close, I got too much at stake right now to do that. The other guy was lucky, if he wudda had a passenger they'd be dead.

Everyone survived unharmed. Poor truck bent the frame horn 90* at the rad support. Turned the front spring into spaghetti. Steering box sheered off as you can see the pitman arm hangin underneath. Everythin from the door forward will need replaced, thats if the frames still straight after the rad support. She can be saved but it will mean sacrificing my dear 85.

That sucks. I have a similar story but thankfully different outcome. I almost got rear ended by a brand new expedition last week. Me and my brother were sitting at a red light waiting for it to turn green. Some young chick was driving and texting. She wasn't paying attention and suddenly locked up the brakes. I looked in my rear view to see a blonde closing fast with brakes locked up and a back seat with small children. I have a ranch hand and a receiver hitch that gave me reassurance, but I was woried about those kids with her. I rolled down my window and told her to get off the damn phone. She flipped me off and drove away

The bad part is the insurance will total it if the frame is bent.

Yeah, I got a ranch hand rear also. Sadly a ranch hand front would have only furthered the damage to the frame at this speed.

Yes, Im thinkin I may just buy it back and use it to restore my 85 or cut my 85s frame to save the 95.

I dont know bout easy, but it shouldnt be hard. I may see bout a Bronco for a temp driver while I straighten the frame and fix her up. First I need to sell a couple vehicles to the jy and make some room.

F350 Slideshow by benztechnc | Photobucket

Trying to link to my CC LB 4wd I have my pictures up on photobucket. I have been on the fence for a year about rebuilding this old thing. I love it, but it's going to take so much, i don't think there is part on it thats worth saving. Though she does start up and run, she cough's and sputters, won't tow a load any more, and has been through hell. There isn't a piece of sheetmetal on her that's worth saving, the carpet has more coffee coloring to it than blue, headliners gone, starting to rust (surface). But I just can't bring my self to sell her, so she sits in the shop for now...
