1989 F250 Idle problems

Ive got an 89 F250 with a 351 in it. It has a problem idling when you first start it. It will not idle and just die, you have to play with it for a good 5 min usually until it will finally idle. I have replaced the idle air control valve, it stopped the high idle problem it had, but the dying still happens. This happens at all temperatures, but seems to be worse in the cold. Any ideas? Thanks, Zac.

This could be many things, fuel filter, air filter, or maybe it needs a tune up, change the plugs wires and etc. Also is there a check engine light involved in any of this??
