Here's my problem guys hope someone can help I replace an injector then truck would not start cranked on it for 2 days so yesterday I took the oil filter out and held down the little valve and cranked the engine for ever and no a drop of oil came out. Then I pulled the regulator out and it was fine and wasn't stuck . So my ? Is cN the lpop be vapor locked and not allowing oil to come up.

How many cranking sessions?

How long were you cranking the engine?

Pulling the oil rail allowed air to enter the HPO system and as a result it will take some cranking to build pressure and get the truck running again.

Do you show oil pressure on the instrument cluster while cranking? Make sure you keep the batteries charged and a break from cranking every 20-30 second so you don't fry the starter.

When i crank the engine i crank for about 30 sec then quit and the the bateries charge then i cranked again for 30 sec and still nothing the gauge in the dash only moves i tiny bit when i turn the key on and thats it. i put a gauge in the icp port and i built up to 20 psi thats it. so i pull the filter at and held down the pluger valve and cranked the in engine for like 50 secs and nothing came up dry.tried 3 times and nothing. Can i pour oil in the canister and try and crank it would that help the pump suck the oil? I dont get it truck ran great before injector replacement and now its like the devil is sitting in my engine.LOL I love my truck and just want it back.
