Head stud installers in Oklahoma/Missouri/Texas?
I'm a long time lurker, and first time poster on this site.
Anyway... I currently live in Oklahoma City, and I'm looking for suggestions for great shops in either Oklahoma, Missouri, or Texas (Kansas and Arkansas as well) to do head studs, gaskets, oil cooler, HPOP updates, and any other upgrades/updates on my 2004 1/2 F350 with 117k on the odometer.
I've had her for almost 8 years, and so far she's been real good to me. Only having to replace an FICM two years ago, and I added a PHP FICM tuner (only running the 40HP tune) so I could monitor the vitals. So, instead of going out and spending 40k on a new truck, I thought I'd rather spend a few grand, give this one some much needed upgrades, and keep her running and towing dependably. Normally I turn my own wrenches, but I figured with this task, I could either drive it to the shop and have it back in a few days...or I could fight with it for a week myself, and then tow it to the shop. Personally, I'd rather drive it to the shop.
So, if anyone has any recommendations for shops in those states, I'd greatly appreciate it.

If you're down in Texas, namely the Houston area, Powerstroke Enginuities did the work on my truck, as well as the work on my buddy's '07 F350. Neither of us have any complaints and I know for a fact my truck runs better than when it rolled off the assembly line.
Welcome to Power Stroke Enginuities
I can't say that I'd be willing to put my good name behind a shop since most of them have done me wrong, but without a doubt I can say that I'd recommend powerstroke enginuities.

Thank you folks for your replies and suggestions. I figure it's better to do it now while I have the time to find the best place to take care of my baby, rather than later and have to find someone out of desperation. I figure while the truck is in having the heads done, I'll also have all the normal wear-n-tear parts replaced to, like the water pump, maybe even drop in a new HPOP for good measure. I just hate when you just have work done, and then something else gives out, and back to the shop ya go.
Again... Thanks. Hopefully I can now make some time for this forum (amongst all the other forums I'm involved with). Solid community of people here, and hopefully I can contribute as well.

I also want to thank you for something else... I was recently installing a double din head unit in my truck, and I came across some good information that you had posted in regards to the task. So you've already helped me more than you'll ever know. You're a true asset to us 6.0 guys.
