Rare Craiger edition F100 XLT Ranger?

Just found this locally, thought perhaps someone may be interested in it. It is not mine, I am not selling it, I have nothing to do with it, just posting it in case a collector is lurking about

http://bakersfield.craigslist.org/cto/4381250013.html

lol, link would have helped, huh.

It's Cragar, not Craiger.

FoMoCo had nothing to do with this so-called Cragar Edition. If anything, it was a dealer promotion.

But, I'm not aware of a Ford dealer located anywhere in CA that was called Cragar. Bakersfield dealer at that time was Haberfelde Ford.

The wheels appear to be Cragar mags and this "1971" has 1972 grille inserts.

Yeah, as soon as I read "Rare Craiger" I thought it was sarcasm and thought it meant "Fake Craigslist". Looks like that's all it was though, but we'll see.

Somebody threw some cragers on at some point and got them emblems. Sounds like this owner don't know much about old fords. Should of been more focused on finding some replacement ranger xlt emblems instead of taking pics of emblems that don't belong on the truck.

Wow. If that's all it took I would have had a 73 Shelby Subaru.

It is local, so I am going to go see it, and try to explain to him that he should remove the emblems and relist it.

Also, I agree with Rasputin, if it were that easy, I would have a 1969 Harley Davidson GTO 4WD 23 window bus.

Two things a listing needs: the truth and punctuation.

This is the tag from the truck....tried to explain, guy just refused to accept anything other than this was the genuine "craiger" not even crager edition...was not even one of the many clones that were made to look like this genuine model. And the fact that he had a guy came to look at it and he knows about these trucks, because he is a ford "enthusiastic"

So there you go, irrefutable proof that it is indeed a genuine, rare model that none of us know about, because the seller said it is so. Gotta be beyond reproach.

I'm holding out for the "Keystone" that is rumored to be on Barrett next month
