I'm thinking about keeping it (since I have the room to) and using it for scrap runs only

My 24' enclosed rode like a baby buggy. I could put stuff on the counter I had installed across the front and it wouldn't move an inch while driving it cross country with the Solstice inside. When strapping down the vehicle, put the straps around the axles or wheels, NOT to the chassis! Crisscross one set of straps, but not both.
