Cam and pushrod question for 351w
I have a f4te block out of an f250. I want to run an HO cam in said engine for a little while until I go custom grind with a set of tfs heads. For now I plan on running the HO cam with the stock e7's What I have so far...spider hold down tray, dog bones and roller lifters. They are from a 5.0 ho stang, as far as I know these will work in a 5.8 Correct? Now my other question is, with the HO cam installed what length of pushrods do I need to run? Before you say "search for it!" I am letting you know that I am currently searching. Just wanted to ask this before I continued. So far I find that the HO cam can be swapped into the 302...Just nothing on pushrods.
Also the f4te that I own had a flat tappet installed too. So I'd imagine those would be too long? or maybe just right? I know on the 302 there is a difference in length for the pushrods.
Thanks in advance.
