Inexpensive Tire for Northern NY Winter?
Hey guys,
I live near Canada in Northern NY. I am also supporting two house holds. So I need a set of tires that don't cost a lot and yet will be good in the snow/slush. I would prefer an all season as they might last longer.
Suggestions please.
2004, Ford F-150, 4.2 V6, Heritage, 5 lug, locking diff., regular cab, stick shift, long bed.

I haven't tried AT3's but I'd imagine they are decent. I believe that is the replacement for ATR's. I used ATR's and A/T's for years and they we're great. Used Radial LT's in the summer.

Sweet. I think you've made a good choice here. Now, post up some pics.

Definitely a good choice going with the AT3s (and yes they were a replacement for the ATR). Don't forget Cooper has an $80 mail in rebate on those right now that's good until November 5th! Here's a link to them on our site: Discoverer AT3 Tires by Cooper - Buy Discoverer AT3 Online | Tread Depot
