I don't think he is trying to sell his truck think it is just a matter of that's what is on the craigslist or something like that ad and he cope and pasted it.

Depending on the shape and price of the vehicle would be my concern.

Around here that would have been sold already. I would buy but of course my area is stranger then most with ford trucks.

i would definitely look at it, if i were looking for a half-ton 4x4 .
if you are new to fords or to buying used vehicles, beware of seller b.s. such as "it just needs a tune-up".

I know sorta to look for stupid things like that. I think I could start with a half ton 4x4 then when I need. 3/4 ton upgrade. I just know nothing about the 5.8 (351) motor

I have a 1993 Bronco with the 5.8 motor and it has 243k miles on it, and runs strong, no smoke, and only one small oil leak on the passenger's side. I use it off road quite a bit, and have only had one issue with it (starter) in the 2 and a half years I owned it. And as previously stated, that truck you are looking at would have sold the first day out here in my neck of the woods, for the price he is asking.

There are several around here for sale. Anywhere from $1500 to $4000. Everybody's version of " In descent shape" is different. If you have good mechanical abilities a cheap truck with a little repair can be a good dependable driver.
