4R70E shifting trouble

need help, my 08 E250 with112mi started giving me trouble the other day,when i started to take off trans would hesitate then jump in gear and the trans makes a louder wine in park. so i read one of the post how to drain fluids including torque converter and filter too. refilled trans every thing was running good for one day now trans seems to start off in maybe second or third gear and the loud wine is back in park need suggestions what to do

New fluid won't help this one. It needs professional help.

well i rebuilt my 4R70W this week,new direct clutch assembly,all new clutches and seals,got it back together yesterday, i have first and second but no 3rd and fourth.i do have manual 2nd and manual first ,reverse.what might i check for ?

Just a suggestion, if you are asking for help you should refrain from posting garbage like this.

Your transmission is the most complex mechanical component of your car, and most of us just don't understand them that well. Mark is a great resource, as would be someone with experience rebuilding and replacing these transmissions. But I'm neither, so adding idle speculation would probably not be helpful.

My wild guess would be that something either went wrong when you had it apart or you didn't correct the problem when you were replacing things.

Slightly off topic but seems to almost be a run on snarky replies like this by noobs of late. Lack of immediate or step-by-step replies that solve their problems and suddenly everyone else is at fault.

Is your speedometer functioning ? One with a faulty PSOM will screw with the transmission's functions.
