Testing the waters with this truck because of too many projects.

This is a 4-owner truck with a lot of potential. Truck was owned by a farmer in Lancaster from 1976 until a couple of years ago. Then, a man who saw the truck in his area bought it when it went up for sale around a year ago. He passed it often while growing up. Very cool story behind this Ford! Original sales brochure and owners' manual are included with sale.


Body & chassis:

The bed has diamond plate welded in because the floor is rotted out. The inner and outer fenders are shot; panels can be bought but a new bed should be installed. The truck needs a new radiator support and rear leaf springs. Included with sale are 2 new leaf springs from Washington state. They are in great shape and will bolt right in. 4 extra wheels & tires are included as well.


Engine:

360ci, starts up quickly and easily even after sitting for a week. The truck is an incredible machine. Medium / heavy-duty 4 spd manual. Clutch grabs well.


I'd love to get the truck roadworthy but lack the free time I thought would be available this year. Obviously this truck needs some time, but not necessarily a lot of money. It may sound silly, but one of the best parts of my life was driving this truck home from Lancaster. It is a gorgeous machine which turns heads. It deserves a lot of time and attention.
