Fuel pump relay location

I am trying to diagnose my fuel system, but I cant seem to find the fuel pump relay. My truck is an 2004 f250 crew cab work truck with 5.4L. it seems that the relay can be mounted anywhere from behind the radio or in the engine compartment as well as built in to the fuse box under the steering wheel. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks RICK.

Look in the middle of the fuse box under the hood. It's in the manual.

Thanks Guys. I figured that it was in the fuse box under the steering wheel since I could not find it. How can I verify the "relay" operation? I changed the fuel pump since the truck has 270,000 miles. The fuel pump works when jumped at the plug. I have 6.5 volts at the fuel shut off safety switch in the passenger kick panel. I also have no fuel pressure. Thanks in advance. RICK

Pull the FUSE near the middle of the box, remove the gas cap, put your ear near the tank filler tube, have some turn the key off/on. Also you can turn the key on and have someone install/remove the fuse as you listen. How did the pump act before it went out last time?

I have no power getting to the fuel pump. The truck ran just fine until I let it sit for about a week. I really need a wiring diagram for that system.RICK

Check your g-force shut-off and it might be at the pump. Try running juice to directly above the pump.
