Can a 1950 F-4 cab fit a 1952 F-1 with no modification?

48-50 F1-F6 cabs were all the same, 51-52 F1-F6 cabs were the same, I believe that all the mounts (6) from 48-52 were the same. Of course the 50 will have a smaller rear window and a different dash.

Can the dashes be switched or are they all a solid piece?

The dash is integrated into the cab and would have to be cut out and rewelded, not a job that I would attempt. How bad is your 51 cab?

The '52 is just about gone in the back, but has a really nice fully detailed and painted dash. The '50 is in great shape, but is one of the blandest trucks I've seen-clearly meant as a "just business" truck. And I REALLY want to save that dash.

Cabs are the same from F1-F8. As stated, 48-50 and 51-52 are different. Use the good portion from a 48-50 cab to section into your 52 cab. You really don't want to mess with replacing the dash.

That's really starting to seem like the best option, and I'll see what I can do with it. It's not even my project, but I'm helping my brother on it. Thanks for the help and answers, guys.
