Question 85 f250 lift kit problums

I recently put a 4 inch rough country lift on my 85 f250, the first problum is the u bolts for the back were to long so they didnt have enough thread, the other prublum is the drive shaft is now hitting the cross member, i heard this was a problum for the 6 inch lift but is this normal for a 4?, last but least, my front end is messed up it seems like the leafs are two big compared to the drop brackets and it angles my tires, and gets really bad when i back up, i have a dana 50 if that helps, has anybody had any of these problums, and what have you done, im sure im not the first to buy this rc lift kit. Thanks

Part of the problem is most of these trucks have little differences, even though they come off the same assembly line. I am not sure though why your driveshaft is hitting the crossmember, I have a 4 inch lift on my 89 and don't have that problem. Just to make sure I have it correct, your front driveshaft is hitting the crossmember right under where it comes out of the transfer case correct?

On the rear, did you use the original blocks AND the lift blocks? You should have if you didn't.

the front driveshaft is hitting the crossmember that holds the t-case.
