I took Kansas' wheels off and took a good look at her brakes! Let's say they need some help! I found two bad grease retainers/ rear seal
rear passenger
front driver
. All the wheel cylinders looked like this
. Front Passenger springs need some help too
Try NAPA or a good local auto parts store first. JobLot auto in NY had a complete brake set up, four wheel cylinders, master cylinder and three hoses for the big trucks for around $300 when I checked with them a few years back. All parts are brand new, not rebuilt.
As for drums, they are some of those parts made of "unatainium", you'll have to search around for a set of good used one, no one reproduces them.
I picked up the brakes today! $1100 in parts!!! That's what I payed for the hole truck lol
I need a rear retaining clip that holds the rear inner seal in place. I can t find it at Napa, ford dealer ... Does anybody have a part number for it?
