help me pick my lift kit

I run 315/70/R17 stock

I want to install true number 35/12.50/R17

Not into monster trucks, I use truck ALOT and versatility is important.

Any suggestions?

I see no need for more than 4 inches of lift

I would imagine you would probably be able to get away with a 2"/2" if your already fitting a 34.4" by 12.3" I don't think you'll need much. Depending on your offset.

2012 f250?

You could just do a levelling kit and 4 inch (f350) block on the rear and call it a day.

A 4 inch lift would look good too though

because I have a gasoline engine I feel like a leveling kit would give it that dragging *** California look no offense to the state but I just don't approve of that look on my own truck

Ya it would, that's why you would have to add the taller blocks on the rear.

Personally I think a 4in lift and 35's would look great! But could get a little annoying after awhile if you're using the truck a lot, just because of the height.

And the 35's should fit stock, on the 2011 and up trucks, I think. Like you know a 34.4" tire will work so I don't see why the 35 wouldn't fit stock. So they should work, if that's the route you want to go. Also make sure you actually find a true 35, even some 35x12.5R17 aren't a true 35, just an fyi.

Are you staying with stock rims?

If I were you I would probably go with a leveling kit and a block in the rear, like others have said. Should be the best of both worlds, with a little height, but still with the functionality. Good luck with whatever you pick.

you said you use the truck a lot, if you tow a lot also then i would recommend just a 2" front and F-350 blocks in the rear. A 4" lift is at the top point of how high you can go and still hook onto gooseneck or 5th wheel trailers (in most cases) there can be mods done to truck and trailer that allow all of this, but thats just a general rule of thumb coming from my contacts that do all of my mods. The factory ride height will allow a 35" tire, but then on a 12.5" width you factor in the offset of a factory wheel and prolly experience some rubbing. If you get a new set of wheels correctly offset and backspaced then the rubbing can be minimized or eliminated all together.

All of this is just my support of previous posts recommending the front level kit and a higher rear block. Gives you the best of both worlds, functionality and appearance in your case with what you are wanting.

I did a 2.5" level and a 5" rear block, with a gas engine expect it to go up high at first though intil it settles, unless you have coils up front (05+) then you can get the spacers.
