The adapters were around 600 or so. It'd be nice to be able to find a set of the quigly ones or what not, but they are not easy to come by.

My buddy picked up these gears used. The 4:10s exist, I am not sure if they are a factory part tho. ford only offered the d80 w 463 and 513? i think, tho I may be wrong. Maybe the ones out of the dodge dana 80s swap in, idk.

Since it is a 450 it had leafsprings already, not coils, so its not like making a 250 or 350 4x4. The install was pretty simple. The transmission was also already 4x4 since the parking break bolted to the back of it.

As for the dodge single wheel d80 vs the ford dually 80, Im insure of how they compare. and what parts are interchangeable. There aught to be some fairly simple solution for the e break though.

Here it is this morning with the sides on getting ready to haul fire wood.

That awesome. I like my hand shaker but may need to auto swap mine and do this. Did you use a ball joint or king pin d60?

Yeah, Illegal here with no parking brake. Keep us updated on what you do with that.

Bad news for those who wanted an answer on the parking brake. My buddy sold the truck. But he fetched a fair dollar, and its gonna spend the rest of its life working hard.

away she goes, on an old international

mean while there has been a few other projects my buddies and I have been up to.

7.3 swap on an f550 with a bad motor using a 7.3 from a van. so there are some parts to swap over.

Also, we did a complete over haul on the front axle on the red 350 in the background of the pic above

And a solid axle swap in a f250 ccsb psd w a 5 speed

and 355 swap and 38 gal fuel tank upgrade in my f350

so we have been keeping busy.

And the other week, I saw a sweet 4x4 van, that im pretty sure was powerstoke

You have definatly been busy! Everything looks good! I'd love to do a D60 swap on my truck, but I'm not there yet. Trying to figure out what I want to do next is enough of a challenge haha. Right now I'm looking for ways to make my truck more functional, I have a few Ideas for things I want to do, but we'll see, money permitting of course. haha.

Yeah, it was a nice one. Too late now! It doesn't make a good daily driver, and his almost 300k 96 psd plow truck is starting to become not so reliable. and the body is falling apart. He is looking to find a clean obs with maybe half the miles. So it wasn't sold for nothing

I know this thread is a little old…

But did you use the Dually adapters on the Dana 60, then put the 8 to 10 adapters on those?

By the looks of it, they appear to be just 8 to 10 lug adapters. They don't look big enough as dually hubs too

That's why I asked if he used the factory dually adapter. Then bolted that on. He didn't really show how he bolted them on

Yes he had to. That the only way he could run a dually tire up front.
