302 question

Iv been looking around for a rebuild kit for my 1992 302 i found one for $365 but its for a 91 the one for a 92 costs 200. Anybody know why ive looked at different brands they average the same

I wouldn't waste my time doing a stock rebuild on a 302. There's enough crashed Explorer/Mountaineers from the late 90's with good used motors that can be had for way cheaper than rebuilding one.
