Buying and fixing a 2004 lariat
I recently came across a 2004 lariat crew cab for 3000$.
Has 160,000 km's on it.


It has timing chain issues.

It doesn't look like rebuilt long blocks cost much...

Good idea, or bad?

Wife needs a vehicle, equinox is costing 1000's every time I turn around.

Sounds like a great idea, especially if you are just replacing the motor
