I love seeing Our old trucks doing what they were meant to do almost 50 years later. When the Bow-Ties have been converted to street cruisers, and the Rams have been left in Farmer Joe's back 40, the "Built Ford Tough" Moniker has never been more true. I thought just for fun I would start a thread and see what everyone thought.
Post your Pics here Of your Bump Workin' Out.........
Here is my 1971 F100 Custom Last January, 2013 before I started the engine overhaul, With 3 cords of Hedge, my Grandson (11 years old) on the phone talking to his mother. Him and I have just come out of the fields where I harvest Wood at. This was during our "Indian Summer" as it was about 68F out side....

Here are 2 pics of my truck taking a load of broken up sidewalk concrete to the dump last fall. To my surprise, the load was 5.2 tons! The truck handled it well and the PTO driven hoist went right up with no problems to dump it.

Here is a pic I took as I was taking a break from mulching a cemetery plot this summer. With the extra sideboards I got 3 yards on easily and could get 4 yards of mulch on, no problem.

Abe... That is a nice looking F350. I love the idea of being able to load the truck and not really thing about how much weight your putting on it. Your truck's suspension is handling that 5 ton load real nicely. My load above net was about 8000lb or so. My total Rig weight was slightly north of 15,000lb. Crazy thing is, and Abe I bet it is the same with you, from the drivers seat looking forward you would have never known the load was on the truck.
