Authorized Dealer Ford Online Parts
Has anyone purchased discounted Ford parts, online from an Authorized Ford dealer? I've found a couple of sources, and was curious if there is any issue as far as quality. I'm in the market for a Throttle Body Assembly and the online price is $289 that includes shipping. It retails for $422. I would have no problem buying online if its the exact same part. Its supposed to be.

Most dealerships with a stated internet sales outlet sell mostly OEM stuff---there should be no fear of authenticity or quality. For the person who doesn't enjoy a trade discount at local dealers the on-line thing offers a good value.
Pay attention to shipping costs, compare your local cost to the final cost as delivered to see if its worth it.
Your example of MSRP vs advertised cost represents about 31% off list which is a pretty good deal.
Here's a link to an FTE sponsor from whom I've bought parts before, OEM and no issues with counterfeit or bogus aftermarket parts: AutoNation Ford White Bear Lake Parts (previously Tousley Ford Parts)
Also keep in mind many OEM parts are also sold under the Motorcraft brand which is available from many many on-line sellers like RockAuto and even Amazon too.
