Interesting Truck on eBay

Listed as a '52, but has a monkey face front clip with 51-52 grille bar, and the bed is 48-early 50 (raised panel). Has already been chopped, slammed, 351/FMX and 9", with Marquis front clip. Has fender skirts, too. Everything a darksider would want, already done and ready for paint!

Saw that listing. It just made me sad. Just seems like the old girl has her drawers slid completely below her tush.

Butt ugly and useless. Not for me. Nothing ta see here. Move along.
What an almost complete waste of vintage Ford Iron. Would the tail
lights up on the cab even be legal without any down near the rear
bumper as well?

Now we know what Ross has been working on out in his shop all winter long. Come on man, you know you want to keep it.

I honestly wonder if there is a single road in my entire county where that truck wouldn't drag or get hung up.

I am always amazed how people try to sell vehicles with a total lack of details or description.

At least they aren't Lambo doors

The roads here are worse. Obviously he's got the bags deflated to impress us, tho. I know I'm impressed, and am cutting my frame to go with bags. And I hate having headroom so I guess I'll chop my top til the rear window is just a slit.

If that is what a Darksider is then no. My definition is much more tame than that, I think that truck is closer to a ratrod than what I call a darksider. That truck is just ugly and a waste of parts in my opinion...

I wonder if he stole the bullet taillights from his grandmas' caddie to put up there.
He must be really short too, Sorry, vertically challenged.

I think that makes it the dreaded 'manure face' cab
