Blue smoke heavy fuel smell

Background : it's a 1994 F150 5.8L 4x4 XLT with 230k miles

I recently towed a 26 foot boat for the first time a week ago then truck sat for 2 days were rats made a nest under the upper intake plenoms.. Chewed 2 n3 spark plug cables and 2,3,4 injector wires (the wires that go to the plug)

I replaced the wires that got Chewed and plug cables..

But now have a heavy blue smoke that smells of fuel when starting truck and runs real rought..

I've looked around the forums for for information and not sure which direction to go with,

thank you

Welcome to the board - sorry to hear about your rodent problem. Not a rare event, unfortunately.

Next thing I would try is to spray some starting fluid around the vacuum lines, etc. in the vicinity of the damage with the engine running. If you note a change in the idle, you probably found a nick/hole in one or more hoses. It's amazing what those critters think they should eat.

[EDIT: make sure you don't have any spark plug wire "leaks" remaining first ]

I would look for more wires chewed off going to sensors. I would check the wires going to the map sensor near the top of the heater core housing on the passenger side.

Blue smoke if from burning oil, I would check the oil periodically just to make sure you're not losing too much. As for the gas smell Im not sure, good luck with it.

It didn't pop the fuel regulator and it's sucking gas thru a vacuum line, did it?

Just pull the vacuum line off the top of the pressure regulator. It will be pretty easy to see.

There isn't anything in the plenum that would cause this problem.

Could my injectors one are all be stuck open? And if they are is it a bad injectors or not the right pwr going to them?

If so does anyone know what the voltage at the injectors should be... With car running or not?

I meant I needed to remove the plenum so that I can get to the two three and four injectors

The injectors have battery voltage on one side, and the PCM grounds the other side to open the injector. If you had a broken wire it wouldn't inject any fuel at all rather than flooding the engine.

You will want to pull KOEO and CM codes. Instructions are at http://www.oldfuelinjection.com/p=13 and the codes are linked towards the bottom of the page. You also want to read and record the fuel pressure in the fuel rail, using a fuel pressure gauge that will read the 50 or so PSI in the rail without wrapping the pointer around the stop.
