1996 F150 5.8, LT Headers ..what to do with the EGR?

So far so good with my little header project. I finally got the driver side header on after some frustrating rusty bolts..
Now it's on to the other side (which doesn't look like much more fun) and I have to do something with the EGR.
Now I consider myself somewhat of an amateur on most things and have little experience. My passenger side header does not have a place for me to plug in the EGR. Any suggestions on what I should do? Should I make a hole for it? Does anyone know of an EGR delete kit? (I haven't found one yet.)
And also if I were to run my truck without tending to the EGR, what would be the symptoms?
Full of questions here haha, little help? Thanks.
