What did your electric fans come out of? I'd like to get rid of the mechanical fan on mine. You might check into getting a turbo blanket, it'll save that plastic heater box. I wrapped my turbo in exhaust wrap for the time being. My manifold is flipped too, which gives about 3 inches of clearance from the heater box.

My manifold is also flipped. Because the engine is so short, the turbo is farther back and thus closer to the heater box. I do have a blanket on it too.

I bought the electric fans off of Summit Racing. They pull around 6,000 CFM of air. The width was perfect for mounting.

About a month ago I put an HX30W on because the HE351CW was way to big. Now I am gather parts for a compound setup. Pics to come when I get time to work on it. I am shooting for 300 HP to the wheels.

Do you have a link? Summit shows 2 different electric fans that push 6k.

I was wrong. They only pull 5,500 CFM.

I recently blew my head gasket so I pulled the engine apart and had the head o-ringed and installed studs. I am in the process of fabbing the compound setup.

The camera has seemed to have disappeared and I have more important things to buy than a camera.

I appreciate the concern but I love to break things. This isn't work - it's all play.

I break things and them make them much better and see what gives next. I'm thinking it's going to be the tranny.

Ah yes, the game of "find the weak link!" That's a fun game.

Once the E4OD goes I think it's time for an overdrive clark! If you can break that you've got to tell us how you did it. It has the makings a real good story!

If the E4OD gives I will just try my hand at building it as I have never worked on an auto before.

Is play to me too but paying to play isn't quite as fun. Been there done that but of its in your budget then great. I dont mind doing just easier wear items like starters, belts, alternators, etc but I tend to turn an afternoon honey-do into a week long project. My Red Baron needed an 11 dollar exhaust manifold gasket when I bought it. Almost 800 bucks later I have headers and a new dual exhaust

When's that Cummins going to find itself under the hood?

I had to re-do the right engine mount.

Much more room.

Cobbled together hot-pipe:

HX30W that I upgraded to a while back:

Rebuilt H1C with a 60mm compressor upgrade and a 16CM exhaust housing:
