87-91 Single cab duallys

I am still gathering info and inspiration for my 89 f250 project and got the idea to make it a dually. I want to see what a single cab long bed dually looks like when lifted. Google isnt helping, so I figured id see what I could find here.

Here is mine... I am the second owner...has 110,000 miles ...7.3 diesel and auto overdrive.. cleanest one for the year I could find.. did a 3/5 drop and put 19.5 wheels on it...

you know, those 8th generation trucks didn't go over very well in their day,but look at them new/nos/resto.they're still far, far, far above the modern super duty style.sad where ford went isn't it.
id slam a dually before i raised one if i wanted a toy myself, but good luck!
there's no point in raising a dually no more than there is slamming one.raising one and putting on big tires doesn't mean it will be any good in mud lol slamming makes it even more useless i suppose but it looks cool.anyway, have fun with it and don't forget the pics before, during and after!

The reason you are not finding any is that Ford Never made 4wd Dually Pickup until 1999. Any you may have seen were conversions

yeah.just start with a srw f250hd/f350 4wd though.it's far easier than starting with a 2wd dually.
is that f250 in your avatar a 4wd?......there's your platform.though you'll want a d60 for lifting.

Why do you say that? The truck already has 1 ton suspension and 10.25 rear end. Not really much to change. It wont all be happening at once. It will go step by step.

yeah, might as well just source a 4wd srw f350 pickup, dually convert and lift it then.cheaper and faster.a 250 2wd isn't anyplace decent to start for what your doing.way too much work and probably just cost more.

I honestly dont care a whole lot about costs. I know places where I can get everything I need pretty cheap. I just want to see what it looks like.

-Front suspension
-front driveshaft
-rear driveshaft
-transmission
-transfer case
-rear axle
-bed

Hate all you want. I just asked for pictures, not you trying to tell me how to build my truck and question my intelligence. That list isn't really all that much compared to some of the other ideas I've had. I know what I'm getting myself into and I'm not worried that I will get myself into something that I didn't want to.
