Rear-end Identity when all tags are pretty useless.

1977 F-100 Flareside with 351m, automatic. I apologize if this is a repeat question. I've searched and read all of the "Read First" to try and not repeat a question but I'm stumped. I've owned my truck 2 weeks. The rear-diff tag has gone on walkabout and the Door Tag is nearly unreadable. Is there another place to look for the tag somewhere on the truck. Where the Axle code should be on the door tag I believe it says WDE. This translates to a rear end out of a 64 t-bird so I'm obviously looking at the wrong thing. I'm pretty sure it is 9" inch Ford but I have no idea on the ratio. Is there stampings on the Ford Diff or an easy way to identify it. Any help appreciated.
