08+ console wiring help, Please
So, I bought an 08 console to replace the original one after it was stolen.
Excellent decision, if I do say so myself, and highly recommended to anyone considering it.
My only question: Does anyone know the Motorcraft part number for the female connector that provides the power to the console? I think I can figure out the wiring (but if you have that too it would be appreciated).
Thanks in advance....

If you look in the Super Duty tech folder, you'd find a link to the Ford connector and pigtail catalog.

UPDATE
I wanted to update this to add the information that I now have:
The Motorcraft pigtail catalog shows four connectors that would appear to work - WPT 508, 509, 688, and 1009. The pictures show look identical.
However, only the WPT-688 is correct.
A Google search of the 688 brought up the site carpartkings.com, which has a long list of applications for the WPT-688 as the connector for the blower motor resistor (the resistor in on the exterior of the heater box itself, away from the actual blower motor.)
Being a cheapskate, I chose to rummage the local junk yards, which turned up a 2005 Crown Vic P71. I got the connector and about two feet of wire (along with a bunch of other stuff) for $9.50. That is a considerable discount from the $35-$50 for the new WPT-688.
Hope this helps someone else!
