Another one that i use regularly is the mileage app for Android. You enter the total cost (or price per gallon) number of gallons and odometer reading, it will give you historical mileage for each fill-up, average fuel economy, worst/best, distance between fill ups, total annual cost, cost/mile and graphs of each of those data points. Can even export to excel. App is free.

I'm around the high 12 to low 13 range with my Eco with the winter time fuel and stop and go driving. Summer is low 15's. Highway during the warm weather months is around 18. Towing 8000# plus travel trailer is between 8-10 mpg. My lie-o-meter is between half and 1 mpg too high on on accuracy. My truck is big and heavy, so it is what it is.

My dash computer is normally within a couple of tenth's MPG accuracy. Plus OR minus. Before I purchased my 2012 I checked every tank with a calculator for years....decades. After checking a dozen or so tanks in the Ford and finding that I was as close as I was my calculator rests comfortably in the bottom of my console.
My truck is a 2012 Super Crew 2wd with the 6.5" foot bed. 5.0 V-8 with the 3.55 limited slip. My #2 trip meter has never been reset in the 26,500 miles I've driven the truck since I got it last December, right after Christmas. Currently the avg fuel economy over that time is 18.9. Run 70-75 mph and the truck will return more than 20mpg on the cheapest gas you pump into it. Hauling 1000lbs. Running the air.

No worries bro!
I made a 400 mile round trip yesterday to visit my daughter in Staunton, Va where her college is. It's nice climb after Richmond, Va for the next 100 miles or so. Normally in the spring / fall I can manage a 21-22 MPG round trip. Yesterday I was pushing a little harder than usual as we made it a day trip and I averaged about 19 on winter blend. I was cruising 70-80 when possible.

I've thought about getting a set of regular mirrors to have on the truck for the ~95% of the time I'm not towing. Probably not worth the effort.
