Shift Indicator
I had to buy mine at the Ford Dealer.
You have to remove the trim surrounding the Cluster and, if I remember correctly, pull the speedometer.
As I recall you do not have to remove the Instrument Cluster just the clear cover. Also, you have to remove the steering column cover, put the shift lever in low to do this.
On a good note: you can adjust the cable so it is "dead on" the gears and no more half in, half out.

P.S. Once you get started you will see that it is not that hard. On my 87 I just needed a phillips screwdriver and a torx #12.
