Good Ford Service Department in North Texas???

Can anyone recommend a Ford Dealership that has a good service department in the Dallas/North Texas area? My local dealer doesn't seem too familiar with the 6.4L.

You could try Texas Motors, west Fort Worth. Talk to the Service Manager. I really have not had any serious issues with my truck. But I have been happy with my dealings with them. Good Luck.

Good luck. Seriously. In over 30 yrs I've owned 1 non-Ford truck (it was purty, but a turd under the hood) and in all that time I've come across exactly 1 service dept I thought had their s**t together.

If I had any advice to offer it would be to look for a small dealership, with a small service dept. They're more likely to have it together. Generally the bigger depts turn into get it in, get it out, assembly lines with turnover being the name of the game. Shotgun trouble-shooting is way too common in these types.

The one I found was in a po-dunk little town and I believe the top thing that made their service dept sound was that the service manager himself knew his stuff, and wasn't just a people manager. I could always deal with him directly and he never steered me wrong or let me down.

Good luck in your search.

Go see Dave Lockwood at Grapevine Ford. He's the service mgr. He was my go to guy down in Houston but he moved up there a while back.

Ford Lewisville is the best..

Keep away from West Way ford and Grand Prairie Ford
You would not believe...

Pm me a number and let's talk. Quicker easier..

You would not believe what they have doing for me.

They know their stuff, contact Paul Schroder tell him Greg Schretter sent ya...
I having new bed pan installed and some other misc stuff.

Great salesman there is Tom Martin, I'm a customer for life with these two.
Nothing but 5 star service on all my vehicles. I don't take them anywhere else.

And no I don't work there or associated with them.

I appreciate everyones input. Greg sent me to a shop whose fleet manager and diesel mechanics seem very good (Five Star Ford in Lewisville). I'll be using them and will post my experiences as time goes on.

Greg, PM sent, appreciate your help.

Mike
