Maybe that's it Glenn! I'm gonna get that thing running and out of my shop this morning.

The "ol beast" as its now called got called many names like Todd was talking about a little while back!! None of them were even close to ol' beast..

Well, here is a final picture of how the beast will look until it gets painted. I'm not done yet, I still have to wire in the trailer wiring plugs, finish mounting the exhaust, mount one of my toolboxes (getting one new one sometime), and bleed the brakes. Not too much left though.

My little electric pump worked like a charm in my 76 too.

That is a sharp looking truck even before color matched paint. I love the rake with extra springs. Looks good!

Thanks again guys! Bill, you are right, I'm excited to get it painted, but I kind of agree with what Glenn and Nick said, it doesn't look too bad as is, so it won't bother me near as much as I thought it would until it does get done.

Aaron, I don't know if this big exhaust will help the egt's or not, but you're right, it was my way of thinking! Real world testing I'm gonna guess it won't even be noticeable, but I could be wrong. I'll be able to tell on my first tow this spring. It doesn't matter too much though, it's what i wanted, know it's not going to hurt the egt's, so it's what I did.

The Beast looks great Darin. It really is proportioned well for a dually and with that rake it makes it look really tough! I like it a lot, I can only imagine how good it will look after a fresh coat of paint.

Yeah, I just laughed my a$$ off and spewed coffee when I read this.

Daring, the ECLB looks insanely good with your truck. I am a little jealous, I must admit!

Thanks Nate and Byron. I'm real happy how it looks, now if it performs as well I'll be stoked!

Waiting on an electrician before I can do some sheetrocking tomorrow, so I may go to the shop and finish my exhaust.

Mine doesn't whistle near as loud at high idle with the S366 as it did with the stocker. That thing would just be screaming at high idle with the 4 inch straight pipe in front of the tire. Once I get rolling the S366 wakes up though. I'm just looking forward to a little quieter ride by getting a muffler on and moving it out behind the tire.
