Light switch instl. problems on 52 F1

I bought a light switch from Classic Haulers plus the switch **** with stem.

First off no one seems to sell the attaching dash nut for the 52.
The switch uses a 3/8 NF thread.
I bought a nut for a 1953 has larger threads so I am going to tap the switch out and use the 1953 nut to install the switch.

When I put the stem in the switch by depressing the lock button the **** and stem sticks out about 1" too faraway from the dash.

I bought another stem from Dennis C. and it is the same length.

When you install the switch in the dash which way do the terminals point, left, right or straight up. Think the only way I can install this switch is with the terminals pointing to the left.

The switch does mount flush to the inside of the dash, correct?

Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

There is a spacer that goes between the dash and the switch.

light switch

Rich,
This really helps a bunch.

Will you sell the set-up complete?

What I really need is the spacer and the nut but will take it all if you do not want to split it up.

Thanks, Bill Bailes

Sorry Bill,
It's the only ones I have. There are a couple on ebay or maybe someone else here has an extra.

ebay #'s
130785094824
201008064857 10 hours left

These have the whole assembly.

The only old truck junkyard here sold and crushed everything so I don't even have that option to offer.
