no start after after sitting over night

I drove about 350 miles back home, parked my pickup went to start it the next morning, and it wouldn't start. I checked the oil and it didn't even read on the dipstick. I filled it with oil, and still no start. the hpop res was full. It fired off starting fluid, but wouldn't stay running. I had a buddy try and pull start me for about a total of two or three miles, didn't start. I puged it in over night, still no start. Today is the warmest it has ben at 33 degrees. posabaly jelled up?

Do you have a wait to start light? Fuel in the fuel bowl?

Yes there is a wait to start light and fuel in fuel bowl, also the tach moves when cranking.

Are you disabling the gp's before you use starting fluid? You really need to if you haven't as it can cause problems. As in it can explode in the cylinder from a hot gp.

Do you have smoke out the tailpipe when cranking?

You could try and follow this no start chart: https://docs.google.com/open?id=0Byb...2x4WU1qRU1VVGc

Darin, no smoke that I could see.

Rick, I just went out and unpluged the ICP and tryed to start it and still nothing. I have the IPR with the screen and my HPOP has a screen in it too, so it has double screens.

Just curious, when you were being pulled, what rpm's were you turning over? It should have fired because of heat of compression. Rick could be right about the IPR is stuck, IDK.

Ok so I think ive narrowed it down to three things. HPOP, IPR, or IDM.

things I know
- I have wait to start light
- tach moves when cranking
- abs light goes off after I turn the key over
- my oil pressure gauge moves after cranking for a period of time
- all fuses and relays are good under the hood
- HPOP is full
- no smoke from the tail pipe
- no start when I unplug the ICP

I think I'd get a gauge on the hp oil system and check it out. I'm a little concerned that maybe your SRP took a crap.

You need to hook the gauge in the pass side head. Take one of the oil galley plugs out and put a fitting in to attach the hose for the gauge. You'll need a #5 o-ring to whatever you need to connect the hose. You can't put the gauge where the IPR screws in. Leave the IPR in place and the wire plugged in.

No. It has to be connected down stream of the HPOP to read the pressure of the pump.
