Might change to AC code injectors - flash ECM?

If I was to get rid of the AB injectors and go to AC single shots, am I then bound to a tuner forever, or can the ECM simply be re-flashed for the new injectors?

Yes you can have your PCM flashed so that it will run with the SS injectors properly. I have singles in mine and even though I am running a DP Tuner my PCM is flashed so that in case the tuner gives up the ghost my truck will still run via the PCM.

Your truck will run with the SS in them just not as good as it should and not as efficient also.

I posted this in the 7.3 forum, and am getting answers there, so here's that thread:
